Grabar-Kitarović: Without Croats, there is no BiH!

After a close race with the current President of Croatia, Ivo Josipović, HDZ candidate Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović emerged victorious, writes the Patria News Agency.

Grabar-Kitarović addressed the Croatian public after it was announced that she had narrowly defeated Josipović, and to the song "Zovi, samo zovi" (Call, just call), her speech was repeatedly interrupted by more than 2,000 people present at her election headquarters. In addition to talking about how Croatia must deal with the economic crisis, Grabar Kitarović also touched upon Croats in BiH and stated:

- We will fight for Croats in BiH to gain the same rights as the other two peoples, because without Croats, there is no BiH - said Grabar-Kitarović, which was met with great ovations.

She also said that she would start working tonight and that she would be the president of all Croatian women and men in Croatia, as well as in BiH and the diaspora.

- There is no room for triumphalism. We are starting to work. I will listen to you and ask you to help me, because only together can we pull Croatia out of the crisis - said Grabar-Kitarović.

Grabar-Kitarović became the fourth president of Croatia and the second from the HDZ. She is also the first woman to head Croatia. From 2011 to 2014, she was the Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Public Diplomacy.
