BiH Border Police Investigating How Dodik Crossed Border Between BiH and Serbia

(Patria) - The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the orders of Director Mirko Kuprešaković, is conducting an investigation into the crossing of the state border by Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska, it was announced by this state police agency.

Furthermore, all measures and actions are being taken to determine the circumstances and manner in which the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, crossed the border between BiH and the Republic of Serbia.

In relation to the mentioned event, the BiH Border Police will inform the BiH Prosecutor's Office and cooperate with all law enforcement agencies.

"The BiH Border Police, as an administrative organization within the Ministry of Security of BiH, with operational independence, established to perform police duties related to the supervision and control of BiH's border crossings and other duties prescribed by law, acts in accordance with its competencies and will undertake all available measures to protect the state border and preserve the security of BiH.

Furthermore, the BiH Border Police monitors the situation at the state border and undertakes measures and actions in accordance with positive legal regulations and its own plans, and continues to improve cooperation with other police agencies and bodies, as well as neighboring countries, in order to prevent illegal border crossings and other forms of cross-border crime, such as human trafficking, the fight against terrorism, human trafficking, drug smuggling, arms and explosives trafficking, document forgery, and the like, all with the aim of creating a secure environment for all citizens of BiH and the region and our progress in achieving European standards and strengthening common European security," it was announced.
