Speak only good things or remain silent

Hfz. Ismet ef. Spahić stated at today's sermon, held for the faithful at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, that whoever covers the flaw, the shame of a person, Allah SWT will cover his flaws in this world and the next. 

- Some media outlets investigate the flaws of others and publicly expose them, and that is a great sin – Spahić stated, supporting his speech with a hadith of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad PBUH. 

- A companion came to the Prophet and asked: "What if I speak about my brother about something he did, for example, something he stole? Is that, Messenger, a sin?". And the Prophet told him: "If you speak about him about what he did, then you have slandered him. If he did not do it, then you have committed an even greater sin – you have falsely accused him.". 

- Therefore, the Prophet advises well: "Speak good, good things, or remain silent. If you have nothing good to say – then remain silent" – Spahić said.

Hafiz Spahić said that every time is good, including the one we are currently living in, one just needs to know how to act properly in it.

- Whoever makes happy a person who should be made happy, whoever makes happy someone who is in a difficult situation, someone over whom dark clouds have gathered, Allah SWT will make him happy in this world and the next – ef. Spahić stated, warning Bosniaks that they must close ranks and help each other.
