Gorenje allocates half a million KM for endangered population

By decision of the Gorenje Group Management, 250 thousand euros will be allocated to help the population affected by the consequences of floods and landslides in Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Specifically in Bosnia and Herzegovina, two large trucks of basic household appliances will be donated to the most endangered categories of the population, reports the Patria News Agency.

Considering that the situation in the flood-affected areas is still extraordinary, Gorenje Commerce d.o.o. will organize an action to repair Gorenje appliances damaged by floods in the next three weeks in areas where the water has receded. Also, support for partners across Bosnia and Herzegovina who have also suffered significant losses is being considered in special ways.

- Gorenje is one of the companies that has enjoyed trust and reputation among the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina for decades, and this is the least we can do for those who lost their homes overnight - stated Uroš Marolt, director of Gorenje Commerce.
