Goražde Adopts Pro-Natalist Measures Program for Large Families

(Patria) - The City Council of Goražde, at its session today, adopted the initiative for the preparation of the Pro-Natalist Measures Program to support families with three or more children, in line with the proposal of a set of pro-natalist support measures submitted by the Association "Families 3+".

The City of Goražde will include a one-time financial benefit for families with three or more children in its 2026 budget, as well as other support measures from the proposal of the mentioned association.

The goal of this measure is to provide support to parents and enable all children to have approximately equal conditions for healthy and happy development within the family, and to contribute to reducing the negative natural population growth that is also present in Goražde.

The implementation of systemic support for large families represents a recipe for the demographic recovery of the local community, the Association states, and calls on all local communities to follow this positive example.
