Goražde Resident (29) and Sarajevo Resident (32) Arrested for Drugs

(Patria) - Police officers of the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton last night at 5 PM in Sarajevo's Džemala Bijedića Street conducted a check and search of G.Č., born in 1994 in Goražde and H.K., born in 1991 in Sarajevo, both residing in Sarajevo.

During the search, a certain amount of dry, herbaceous substance resembling the narcotic drug marijuana and a substance resembling the narcotic drug speed were found and seized from them, as well as a metal grinder with traces of drugs.

The duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was informed, and due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of "Possession and Facilitation of Drug Use," the 29-year-old and 32-year-old were deprived of their liberty and handed over to the Detention Facility for Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.
