Goran Zubac did not allow SIPA to provide security at the funeral in Potočari

Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) Goran Zubac did not allow SIPA to provide security at the funeral in Potočari, nor did he agree to help in any segment that was requested of them by the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies.

Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić announced today that the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies had requested SIPA's assistance in securing the funeral in Potočari back in June, but Zubac did not comply with their requests, writes the Patria News Agency.

During the 20th anniversary of the largest genocide in Europe after World War II, in which Serbian police and army killed more than 8,000 Bosniaks, men and boys, an incident occurred in which Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić was attacked.

However, the entire incident is quite controversial, and the fact that Zubac refused to send SIPA members to secure the commemoration and funeral in Potočari casts further suspicion.

We remind you that on February 7, 2014, Zubac refused to provide assistance to the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies when citizen protests escalated into violence and when the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina building and several other state institutions were set on fire, for which he was sentenced to one year in prison conditionally, writes NAP.
