Goran Kovačević: National Parties Are Definitely Leading the Country to Ruin

Goran Kovačević, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies in Sarajevo, said that national parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina are pushing the country and its citizens deeper into dissolution, and proof of this is today's referendum in Republika Srpska on the celebration of January 9th, which is being held in this BiH entity contrary to the decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- National parties in BiH have brought the country and its citizens to the brink of ruin, primarily economic ruin, and are now pushing the country into dangerous dissolution. Unfortunately, these parties are supported by the inaction of the international factor, which should be responsible for stability in the country, but is clearly not doing its job – Kovačević told Patria in a comment.

When asked which parties specifically need to step down from the political scene in BiH, Kovačević said that SDA and SBB, as well as HDZ BiH from the Federation, and SNSD of Milorad Dodik from Republika Srpska, bear responsibility for the dangerous situation Bosnia and Herzegovina has fallen into.

- Citizens must support civic parties that are capable of stopping the further dissolution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because new divisions will only cause even greater headaches for everyone in the country, as well as in the region – Kovačević said, writes NAP.
