Anniversary of the crime in the village of Oborci near Donji Vakuf: Army of Republika Srpska shot 24 Bosniaks and 4 Croats

In Donji Vakuf and Mrkonjić Grad, 28 innocent citizens are remembered today, who were shot by soldiers of the Army of Republika Srpska on this day near the railway station in the village of Oborci, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Members of the 1st Krajina Corps of the Army of Republika Srpska killed 28 people from Mrkonjić Grad in Oborci near Donji Vakuf on September 13, 1995. Among the killed were 24 Bosniaks and four Croats.

These were people who had been previously arrested by Serbian forces in Mrkonjić Grad, and after that, they were forced to dig trenches in various places: Mrkonjić Grad, Trijebovo, Manjača, Kupres, Bugojno, Donji Vakuf...

The massacre occurred shortly before the withdrawal of the Army of Republika Srpska from Donji Vakuf. Serbian soldiers took the prisoners from the Oborci railway station and shot them, writes NAP.
