Anniversary: Independent Union of Cantonal Civil Servants and Employees Sarajevo

The Independent Union of Cantonal Civil Servants and Employees Sarajevo, which has over 700 members, marked its anniversary today, the Union announced, as reported by the Patria news agency.  

The President of the Independent Union of Cantonal Civil Servants and Employees, Elvis Zornić, emphasized that marking the first anniversary of the Union is a great event for the Union itself, that is, for its membership.

„We want to mark this anniversary of ours with dignity, but in accordance with the times we live in. It is a special honor and pleasure for me to highlight those who directly participated in this and who laid the foundations of our union. The Union includes union branches of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, the Professional Fire Brigade of Sarajevo Canton, the Institute for Construction of Sarajevo Canton, and the Institute for Development Planning of Sarajevo Canton.

The Independent Union of Cantonal Civil Servants and Employees Sarajevo has the highest number of union members in this branch in Sarajevo Canton, and through modernization and a more professional approach to work, we strive to be the wheel of change in the entire system of work and protection of workers' rights and freedoms, the statement reads.
