Year of Culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria: Sarajevo Philharmonic to Perform in Vienna

Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanović and Austrian Ambassador to BiH Martin Pamer discussed today cooperation in the field of culture, particularly activities organized within the framework of the Year of Culture of BiH and Austria, reports the Patria agency.

Ambassador Pamer informed Minister Osmanović that on September 28 and 29, a high-level international conference titled “State and Religions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria: Legal Framework of Islam in the European Context” will be held. He also emphasized that the Sarajevo Philharmonic will perform in Vienna on November 29, which is another opportunity to deepen cultural cooperation between BiH and Austria.

Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanović highlighted the full support of the ministry for all planned events, as well as for establishing the best possible cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation between museum institutions from BiH and Austria, and once again pointed out the need for an urgent resolution of the status of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
