SDP Main Board: The BiH Constitution and laws are above any individual and political party

(Patria) - The Social Democratic Party (SDP) of BiH today, at a Main Board session in Konjic, discussed the political and security situation in BiH.

"The SDP BiH Main Board strongly condemns attacks on the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and multi-ethnicity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It particularly condemns threats to security and peace.

In line with this, the SDP BiH Main Board also adopted a Declaration on preserving and developing political stability in BiH and the region, which will be offered to all political actors for signing.

The state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the laws are above any individual and any political party.

The independence and impartiality of the judiciary are guaranteed by the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international law. History has shown that Bosnia and Herzegovina has emerged victorious from even more difficult crises.

The SDP BiH Main Board supports the Government of the Federation of BiH in its efforts to restore dignity to workers by increasing the minimum wage, as well as to combat imported inflation.

Accordingly, the process of fiscal reforms and dialogue through the Economic and Social Council (ESV) to alleviate the burden on the economy and improve the standard of living for workers remains a priority for all citizens, which the Government is implementing after decades of neglect.

The Main Board supports efforts to find a winning formula for adopting European laws, which are necessary for joining the EU, and which the SDP BiH, together with its partners, initiated at the state level of BiH, initiating dismissals and the fight for the European path without any calculations.

The SDP BiH Main Board adopted conclusions and tasked the SDP BiH Presidency regarding the preparation of necessary documents for internal party elections, which will be held within the SDP, thereby ensuring the democratic will of the membership," the party announced.
