SDA Main Board: Those responsible for burning the BiH Presidency building have been sanctioned

The session of the Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action was held today in Goražde, where the concept of economic development from 2014 to 2018 was discussed, as well as the proposal of the SDA Election Platform for the upcoming General Elections, the party announced, Patria reports.

The SDA Main Board adopted the Information on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, presented by the Deputy President of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović. It was stated that part of the measures related to the justified citizen protests and the removal of damage from natural disasters have been implemented in the past period. Among other things, it was stated that these measures relate to reducing public spending, assisting businesses in municipalities with mayors from SDA, and that these measures will be included in the SDA Election Platform.

It was also stated that the perpetrators responsible for the burning of the BiH Presidency building on February 7 have been sanctioned and brought to justice. Bakir Izetbegović stated at the time that Security Minister Fahrudin Radončić was dismissed because of this, and that the responsibility of the SIPA director Goran Zubac is being determined.

The message of President Sulejman Tihić that party unity should be preserved was also supported. Other conclusions relate to events from previous days in BiH.

- The SDA Main Board most strongly condemned the burning of state flags near Livno, in Kiseljak, and in Mostar after World Cup matches. We demand that the competent institutions shed light on these incidents, find the perpetrators, and sanction them.

- The Main Board considers the glorification of convicted war criminals to be offensive and unacceptable. We are dismayed by the organization of a ceremonial welcome for the finally convicted war criminal Dario Kordić in Busovača and the presence of high-ranking HDZ officials at that event.
