GO of Our Party: Congress on May 18, candidates for president Kojović and Marjanović

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The 12th regular session of the Main Board of Our Party was held today in Sarajevo, at which the proposal for the consolidated text of amendments to the Party Statute was considered, as well as a series of documents for the preparation of the Fourth Electoral-Reporting Congress of Our Party.

As determined at the previous session of the Main Board held on March 16, the Fourth Electoral-Reporting Congress will be held on May 18, 2019, at the premises of the Unitic business center in Sarajevo, starting at 10:30 AM.

At today's session, information on the number of delegates at the Congress was adopted, and lists of candidates for the election of members of the Main Board, Supervisory Board and Court of Honor were established, as well as lists of candidates for the election of the president and three vice-presidents of Our Party.

After the candidate nomination process in the party's local committees was successfully completed in accordance with the Statute, and after proposals for members of collective bodies and holders of individual functions were submitted, the Main Board confirmed the list of 25 candidates for five members of the Supervisory Board, as well as 18 candidates for the Court of Honor. A list of 102 candidates for the new composition of the Main Board, eight candidates for vice-presidential positions, and two candidates for the future president of Our Party was also established.

The three vice-presidents of Our Party will be elected by the Congress delegates from among eight candidates: Irma Baralija, Omer Berbić, Mirsad Čamdžić, Alen Girt, Vibor Handžić, Srđan Mandić, Nasiha Pozder and Zdravko Radošević.

For the president of Our Party in the next term, two nominations arrived from local organizations. They are the current party president Predrag Kojović and member of the current NS Presidency Damir Marjanović.
