DF Mostar City Board: Mostar citizens suffer the most due to HDZ BiH, SDA, and SBB

Mostar citizens continue to suffer due to the selfish and irresponsible actions of the ruling parties (HDZ, SDA, and SBB) over many years. The agony of Mostar continues, announced the DF Mostar City Board, reports Patria News Agency.

- We ask ourselves how long we will wait for the mercy of the ruling parties and the final resolution of the Mostar problem, the failure to hold elections for many years, and the denial of Mostar citizens' right to elect their city representatives. Citizens no longer have the patience for this situation in Mostar, which could escalate into something that is not good for anyone.

In a city that boasts its natural beauty and tourism potential, the evident inaction of city and state institutions, and the neglect of areas within the UNESCO protected zone, jeopardizes this status.

For years, we have had the opportunity to witness the construction of illegal buildings in the UNESCO zone, illegal parking lots, unregulated traffic in the city, neglect of the rivers flowing through Mostar (the drying up of Radobolja), the occupation of public spaces, and the destruction of green areas.

Sewage continues to be discharged into the Radobolja riverbed in the UNESCO zone, Mostar's streets continue to stink because no one washes them, organic waste continues to be disposed of in containers, oil and dirt continue to leak from garbage trucks onto Mostar's streets, we continue to have a rat infestation in the streets, beggars are on every corner, we continue to have no police patrols and security during night hours, and police officers continue to speak only Croatian and Bosnian, thus being unable to communicate with foreign visitors to the city.

Tourist facilities continue to operate outside of laws and regulations and do not pay taxes, and half of Mostar remains in ruins.

The city administration continues to take collective vacations for years during the peak of the tourist season, and our diaspora continues to have no one to turn to for any document they need, let alone information about returning or, God forbid, information for investing in Mostar.

Who benefits from such a Mostar?

Certainly NOT normal and honest ordinary citizens of Mostar! SDA, SBB, HDZ, do not shift blame onto each other! Take responsibility for the consequences that Mostar citizens are enduring!
