Main Committee of the Party for BiH: The Troika, with its partners, has brought us into the most difficult security situation since the war

(Patria) - The Main Committee of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina held a session on Saturday, 30 March 2024 in Lukavac. The session discussed the proposed work plan of the Party for 2024, as well as the financial report for 2023 and the proposed financial plan for 2024. The current political situation was also discussed in the context of the latest political crisis caused, for the umpteenth time, by decisions of the National Assembly of the RS entity, and the upcoming local elections.

Regarding the participation in the local elections, it was concluded that the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina will run independently with lists for municipal and city councils, while cantonal and municipal organisations are given room for talks with other parties regarding joint candidates for mayors or city mayors.

"Dodik's publicly stated intention 'to move into a new phase of political and every other kind of struggle' for the RS is a direct continuation of his secessionist policy. There is no doubt that he and those who support the plan to divide BiH and secede the BiH entity of the RS cannot implement this peacefully and that their actions are a path to a new destabilisation of BiH. No one should doubt this development of events, but one should not forget that the patriots of this country remain silent and endure for a long time, and whoever attacks BiH will certainly be decisively stopped.

In such circumstances, we must not and cannot be 'blind and deaf' as if nothing is happening. We call on the competent state institutions to begin responsibly, efficiently and lawfully protecting the constitutional order of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The destruction of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina must no longer be tolerated. The latest behaviour of the last pro-Russian dictator in the deep zone of interest of NATO and the EU is directly supported from Belgrade! Dodik's latest phase of attacks on BiH is yet another proof of why one should not have entered into a state coalition with the SNSD. For SBiH, it was unacceptable to be in government with someone who is the main disruptive factor in the Balkans, who denies the jurisdiction of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose rhetoric and behaviour represent a direct attack on the state and institutions of BiH, and who denies the genocide in Srebrenica. Everything that we rejected, the parties of the Troika humbly accepted for the sake of chairs and contributed to this situation. With their concessions so far and lulling the BiH public to sleep, with naive statements about a positive atmosphere, the Troika has caused the greatest damage to BiH. It is obvious that at the last meeting in Bakinci near Laktaši, the Troika accepted everything that Dodik and Čović are demanding and seriously damaged the position of BiH. From false promises to the citizens of BiH that Dodik has changed, they have brought us into the worst security situation since the war.

What we believe Dodik about is that they agreed on everything in Bakinci, and we believe the Troika when they call Dodik and his renegade group 'partners'. The Troika is obviously ready to accept the outlines of the borders of a third entity with new electoral units, the division of property and the dismantling of the Court of BiH. By their actions, retreating before Dodik and Čović, who are now demanding that they fulfil what they promised them. Instead of being tough on the moves to tear apart the country, they are still begging Dodik to talk. Such shame and condescension have not been seen on the soil of Bosnia in its modern history," state from the Main Committee of the Party for BiH.
