SDP Main Board: Preparations for local elections

The session of the Main Board of the Social Democratic Party of BiH will be held on March 5, 2016, in Sarajevo, and the agenda includes a report on the work of the Presidency between two sessions of the Main Board, as well as the current political situation, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Saša Magazinović, president of the SDP Main Board, told Patria that the session will appoint members of the SDP Council, and review the financial reports for 2015 and the financial plan for the current year, as well as reports on the work of the women's forum, youth, and SDP clubs at all levels of government.

One of the items on the agenda is also the local elections, and the Rulebook on nominations and lists will be adopted. When asked if cooperation between the SDP and DF on joint candidates for mayors has been agreed upon, Magazinović said that contacts exist and that they will proceed with an agreement where they assess they can offer a joint candidate.
