SDA Main Board to discuss party situation in Goražde on June 24

The Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) will be held on the 24th of this month in Goražde, confirmed to the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) from sources within the party. The meeting of the highest party body, after the congress, will be held ahead of the start of the election campaign, and a heated discussion about the situation in the party is expected.

According to Patria's findings, the Main Board will most likely not discuss candidate lists, the formation of which has already begun, but it is not excluded that there will be bitterness and criticism due to internal disagreements.

Certain members of the Main Board have, as we were told, already expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the Election Headquarters, which is headed by SDA Vice President Asim Sarajlić, given that he wants to bring the SDA closer to the Alliance for a Better Future.

- The majority of SDA members expect the party to go to the elections alone with its own program, without rotten compromises and coalitions. Anything else could jeopardize the election result - one member of the Main Board told us, reports NAP. President Sulejman Tihić, who is battling illness in Sarajevo, will most likely not attend the session.
