SDA Main Board is humiliated, and the Personnel Commission is a political center of power

At tomorrow's session of the SDA Main Board, personnel policy of this party and the neglect of the MB as the largest political body between two Congresses will be discussed again, writes the BH news agency Patria.

Mirsad Sipović, a member of the MB and deputy president of the MB, told the Patria news agency that the conclusion from the last MB session has been reduced and that members will only be presented with information on the implementation of the Party's personnel policy, while the personnel policy itself was supposed to be discussed.

- The deadline for scheduling the session was February 9, but it was not done, probably so that all appointments could pass, which is a violation of the party's Statute. The rapporteur will be the president of the Personnel Commission, Asim Sarajlić, and the MB, as the largest body, is requesting information from the Presidency as the executive body of the SDA, not the president of the commission – Sipović said.

Sipović stated that the culmination of everything is that the MB discusses personnel policy, instead of reaching a situation where "they just take the information for granted and that MB members learn through the media who will be the prime minister, minister, ambassador." He said that the SDA Personnel Commission has become a political center of power, and that one of the MB's conclusions was that it should lead the way, not this commission.

- In this way, the role of the Main Board, which is defined by the Statute, is humiliated. An executive operational body, the Presidency, cannot rise above the MB, which is a hierarchically stronger body. That is why it is called the Main Board, which also changes the Statute, decides when the Congress will be held, and convenes the Convention – Sipović said.

When asked if he was aware that efforts were being made to postpone the Congress, which was supposed to be held in May, he said that if that happens, they will clearly state their position on the matter.

- This is a very serious political issue that would call into question the legal status of the SDA. A political party must respect its Statute. If the Statute were respected, personnel policy would be conducted statutorily, transparently, democratically, fairly, and non-discriminatorily, and then professional, competent, reputable, and moral staff would be obtained to perform their functions – Sipović concluded.

The MB session begins at 2 PM in Unitic, and the session will consider the current political situation, the process of implementing election results, as well as Information on the implementation of the Party's personnel policy.
