Main Board of SDA expects formation of executive authority at all levels by the end of February

At today's regular session of the Main Board of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), information on the current political situation was adopted, as well as the process of implementing the election results, which was presented to the Main Board by the Deputy President of the Party, Bakir Izetbegović, the SDA announced, the Patria news agency reports.

The Main Board welcomed the fact that the implementation of the election results has entered the resolution phase. The appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the leaders of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was welcomed, and it is expected that the process of constituting the executive authority at all levels will be completed during this month.

The exposition of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić, was also welcomed, covering all real sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina on which the authorities must work diligently in the upcoming mandate to make the lives of citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina better and more quality.

The Main Board welcomes the commitment of the Party Presidency to protect the interests of the Party and voters through the implementation of election results, as it is unacceptable for the SDA to receive the trust of citizens and then not take over the mechanisms and tools necessary for the realization of its election programs in negotiations.

The Main Board of the SDA welcomes the statement of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was signed by all presidents of parliamentary parties, and demands that it be adopted as soon as possible in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This will unblock Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path, activate the Stabilization and Association Agreement, initiate reforms, and enable the submission of a credible application for EU membership.

The Main Board of the SDA strongly condemns the continued slander and attempts at political discreditation of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Vice President of the Party, Šefik Džaferović, aimed at hindering the formation of government at the state level, equating the aggressor and the victim, and tarnishing the honorable and heroic defense of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Main Board of the SDA calls on the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to urgently comment on Keba's "claims" in order to clarify this fabricated situation as soon as possible.

The Main Board of the SDA demands that all cantonal governments ensure a full package of health protection for returnees, especially those in the Republika Srpska, as well as for residents in those cantons. It is unacceptable that due to this problem, as well as other status issues, returnees are once again forced to leave their homes. The SDA gives full support to the complete return to pre-war residences, among other things, through the provision of this type of health protection.

The Main Board of the SDA strongly condemns the harassment of parents of Bosniak children returnees in the Republika Srpska due to their fight for the elementary human right to attend classes in schools in their mother tongue. Instead of enabling this right, the authorities of the Republika Srpska resort to filing misdemeanor charges against parents who do not allow their children to attend classes in a language that is not their mother tongue. SDA cadres will do everything in their power to help parents and their children in the fight for the realization of their legal rights. We call on the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina to finally speak out and provide protection to these people.

The Main Board of the Party adopted the Information of the Party Presidency on the implementation of personnel policy in the Party.

The Main Board supports the commitment of the Party Presidency to appoint the most qualified personnel in the implementation of the executive authority, in accordance with the criteria of the personnel policy adopted by the SDA Presidency at its session held on February 10 this year.

The Main Board demands that the SDA Personnel Commission compile a list of Party cadres who are members of supervisory and management boards at all levels. The Main Board takes the position that one person can be a member of a maximum of one supervisory or management board, and fees in these boards must not exceed 50% of the average salary at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
