Main Sarajevo promenade covered with sun sails

Sarajevans were surprised today by the red-yellow "sun sails" in the main Sarajevo promenade Ferhadija. Although they have an aesthetic role, the sails also serve as protection from high temperatures that have prevailed for a good part of the summer, reports the Patria agency.

„Sun sails“ have been installed from the Eternal Flame to the City Market, and citizens initially thought it was related to the 23rd SFF, given that red is the characteristic color for festival days. 

Tourists staying in Sarajevo are also surprised by this phenomenon. Indeed, the streets of Sarajevo in these days before and during the SFF look different, more attractive, livelier than ever during the year. 

The city is already living almost 24 hours a day, and all guests can expect numerous events in the coming days.
