"Vote or Suffer!"

The USAID organization, through which the American people help other peoples around the world, called on all Bosnians and Herzegovinians to go to the polls on October 12th with a promotional video.

The message is twofold, but quite clear. First, a criticism of the authorities who, almost four months after the catastrophic floods, have done almost nothing to help the people who lost everything in the onslaught of the water element, and second, with the slogan that ends the video, "Vote or Suffer!"

USAID is saying that it is high time that such authorities can and must be changed in the elections on October 12th. Because, the current authorities obviously do not care about 45,000 destroyed and damaged homes, 120 damaged schools and kindergartens, 90,000 displaced people. USAID was the first international organization to come to the aid of BiH after the May floods, with aid amounting to 14.7 million dollars.
