Voters in Mostar waited for polling stations to open

MOSTAR, (Patria) - Polling stations in Mostar opened this morning at 7 AM for the presidential elections in the Republic of Croatia. Hundreds of citizens waited for the polling stations to open even before seven o'clock in order to vote.

Croatian citizens living in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to vote at a total of 44 polling stations, in the cities that are seats of Croatian diplomatic-consular missions in BiH. In the first round of elections, 24,000 voters exercised their right to vote. 

The largest number of voters is expected to turn out precisely in Mostar. 

Otherwise, HDZ BiH, led by Dragan Čović, has been calling on Croats in recent days through paid advertisements in the media to vote for "our president". 

The first results from the State Election Commission (DIP) are expected at 8 PM, when it will be known how many votes Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović received and how many Zoran Milanović received.
