Adnan Redžović, BiH's best super-heavyweight boxer, lost to Switzerland's Arnold Gjergjaj in the ninth round. The match was held in Basel, reports Patria News Agency.
As Redžović stated, the fight was excellent, and the opponent offered good resistance. He also thanked the fan group BH Fanaticosi who cheered him on throughout the entire match, even though Gjergjaj's fans were more numerous.
Otherwise, Redžović had been on antibiotics in the past few days.
Gjergjaj has achieved 23 wins in his 23 fights so far, 18 of which were by knockout.
