(Patria) - Chargé d'affaires of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina John Ginkel met today with the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Srđan Amidžić, and the topic of discussion was key US economic interests in BiH.
The US Embassy also commented on this on its official X account.
"The macroeconomic stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina remains key to attracting American investments that would create new business opportunities for mutual benefit. Chargé d'affaires John Ginkel met today with the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Srđan Amidžić to discuss key United States economic interests in BiH," they stated on X.
The Embassy says that the United States looks forward to the Council of Ministers of BiH giving priority consideration to the International Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia on the South Interconnection gas pipeline.
Ginkel also met with BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović yesterday, while on Monday, a delegation of the FBiH Government held a meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, where the interstate agreement between BiH and Croatia regarding the construction of the South Gas Interconnection was also discussed.
