
(Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić met today at the seat of the FBiH Government in Sarajevo with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina John Ginkel.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Political Section of the US Embassy in BiH Mark Rosenshield, and the Head of the Economic Section of the US Embassy in BiH Sarah Rupert.
The meeting discussed the current political situation with an emphasis on the importance of overcoming political crises.
The interlocutors assessed the cooperation of all levels of government as extremely important for Bosnia and Herzegovina to accelerate its path to the European Union.
The commitment of the United States to the stability and prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina was confirmed, and the importance of good relations and continued joint action was highlighted.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that the focus of government action in Bosnia and Herzegovina should be on economic issues, industrial development, and creating conditions for the arrival of as many foreign investments as possible.
The importance of the Southern Gas Interconnection project was particularly emphasized in order for Bosnia and Herzegovina to ensure energy independence, which is in the interest of all its citizens.
