Council of Europe Secretary General patron of Sarajevo Winter

Council of Europe Secretary General Mr. Thorbjorn Jagland, in a letter to the Director of the Sarajevo Winter Festival, Ibrahim Spahić, confirmed the traditional patronage of the 33rd International Festival Sarajevo Winter 2017, Patria reports.

- The Council of Europe has recognized the artistic values of the Festival for 25 years, which promotes European cultural identity and diversity through art.

The Secretary General's letter stated that the Festival is in line with the activities and values of the Council of Europe, and therefore the Council of Europe Secretary General Mr. Thorbjorn Jagland gladly accepts to be the patron of this year's Festival.

This way, it has been confirmed once again that the Sarajevo Winter Festival is on the true Silk Road of Art, which is also the motto of this year's Festival.
