SDA Secretary General: Look at Amir Zukić's asset declaration

The Center for Investigative Journalism previously reported on the assets of the SDA Secretary General Amir Zukić, arrested last night, writes Patria.

According to excerpts from the CIN database, Zukić reported owning a house in Sarajevo, a weekend house, and 50,000 m2 of land in Rogatica. He shares ownership of the house in Sarajevo with his wife Elma, while Elma owns a house in Dubrovnik and 50,000 m2 of land in Trebinje.

Zukić told CIN journalists that his wife Elma has 25,000 KM in savings, however, he did not report this in his asset declaration. Zukić also did not report income from renting out properties, which he also mentioned to a CIN journalist. However, Zukić did not disclose the amount of this income.

In his 2010 asset declaration, he reported three loans totaling 450,000 KM. He stated that he used them to build the house. He repaid these loans and told CIN that he had taken out new ones amounting to 49,000 KM.

Zukić is suspected of criminal offenses of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses, and receiving rewards or other benefits for influence peddling.
