INTERPOL General Assembly in Monaco

Deputy Minister of Security of BiH Mladen Ćavar, accompanied by the Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Mirsad Vilić, is attending the 83rd General Assembly of INTERPOL, which is being held in Monaco this year, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

During the four-day session, the development of international police cooperation to date and the main security challenges in the future will be discussed.

Within the framework of the conference, ministers from INTERPOL member states held a meeting today, where discussions focused on further progress and achievements, and key challenges facing police and governments worldwide. The need to strengthen law enforcement institutions and increase cooperation between the police, public, and private sectors in the fight against crime was particularly emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the ministers adopted a Declaration providing guidelines for the continuation of the fight against organized crime and terrorism, and encouraging the strengthening of international police cooperation and the implementation of joint operations, it was announced from the Ministry of Security of BiH.
