Where is the Director of SIPA: Accused Zubac Not Coming to Work Since Thursday!?

Goran Zubac, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, has been on leave since Thursday, the Patria News Agency has learned. Incidentally, an indictment has been filed against him for dereliction of duty, because on February 7th he did not comply with numerous requests to send the SIPA Special Unit in front of the Presidency building when it was set on fire.

The BiH Prosecutor's Office has sent the indictment to the BiH Court for confirmation, which, according to the law, was one of the reasons for Zubac to be immediately suspended. However, SIPA's deputy, Đuro Knežević, refuses to sign the decision on the suspension of his director. The Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina will consider this unique case of the indicted director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency at its session on Wednesday.

Earlier, the president of this board, Žiko Krunić, told NAP that he could not say anything before Wednesday, as there are nine members on the board who decide equally.

- Everything Knežević is doing now is also illegal, because how else were people removed by Zubac immediately suspended. Zubac has not been at work since Thursday, probably resting a little – says our source.

Incidentally, as confirmed to NAP by the BiH Court, at least 15 days will be needed for this body to make a decision.

- We have not yet received any correspondence, which means that a final decision has not been made. As soon as it is, we will inform the public – say the press service of the BiH Court.
