SARAJEVO, (Patria) - After the debut performance of the BiH futsal national team and the 5:1 loss to Spain, BiH national team player Josip Bošković spoke to the BiH media.
Bošković is extremely satisfied to have made history for his country in a sport like futsal.
“Scoring the first goal at the European Championship is not a small thing, and against opponents like Spain. I am very happy and excited, but we regret that we suffered a defeat,” said Bošković.
Our national team player also commented on the match the Dragons played last night.
“They have won the European Championship seven times, the World Championship twice, and this is our first time here. We gave our maximum, but I think this is a realistic result,” stated Bošković.
However, the scorer of BiH's only goal in the match against Spain claims that BiH can achieve better results in the next matches.
“We will seek our chances in the next two matches. Azerbaijan and Georgia have many good individuals, Brazilian players, but we see our chances there and hope to advance to the quarter-finals. If we play at our maximum and as agreed, we can achieve a good result,” concluded Bošković.
