FUP arrests eight people in Sarajevo: Cocaine, weapons, vehicle owned by KS Government seized

(Patria) - In an operation by the Federal Police Administration codenamed "Ata", conducted under the order of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, eight people have been arrested so far. Arrests will continue throughout the day.

Searches at multiple locations in Sarajevo Canton are being conducted for the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, incitement to prostitution, and unauthorized possession of weapons.

FUP police officers conducted searches in Sutjeska Street in the center of Sarajevo.

A larger quantity of cocaine, as well as weapons and vehicles, have been seized so far. Among the seized vehicles is a vehicle owned by the Government of Sarajevo Canton, as one of the suspects is a driver in the KS Assembly.

The primary suspect, according to Faktor, is Feđa Avdić, who is known to law enforcement and judicial authorities. Avdić has been arrested multiple times.
