The Federal Police Administration has received a criminal complaint against the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, due to illegal appointments in Elektroprivreda HZ HB.
Lawyer Jerko Čilić from Ljubuški confirmed for the BiH news agency Patria that he filed a criminal complaint against Prime Minister Novalić, but could not provide further details.
Čilić represents shareholders in Elektroprivreda HZ HB Husein Ahmovć from Sarajevo, director of Elektroprivreda HZ HB Nikola Krešić from Mostar, and executive director for legal affairs at Elektroprivreda HZ HB Mate Pavković from Posušje.
- We have submitted a criminal complaint, but since it is now the holiday season, I don't think anything further will happen regarding this matter until September – Čilić told NAP.
The criminal complaint states that on July 9 this year, Novalić made a decision to give prior consent to the Supervisory Board of JP Elektroprivreda HZ HB d.d. Mostar, for the appointment of six acting executive directors in this company, even though the Municipal Court in Sarajevo had prohibited the Government of FBiH from electing and appointing members of the Supervisory Board until the final conclusion of the proceedings based on the lawsuit filed by Husein Ahmović, Nikola Krešić from Mostar, and Mate Pavković from Posušje, NAP reports.
