FUP: Sanin Musa was not arrested or detained, but an informational interview was conducted with him

(Patria) - The Federal Police Administration (FUP) issued a statement saying that today an interview was conducted with Sanin Musa in its official premises in Sarajevo.

For Musa, they stated that he is a person who, in previous days, announced his departure to Široki Brijeg with another thousand people to perform a religious prayer, as a sign of protest because a woman was recently banned from performing prayer in a public place in that town.

"Bearing in mind that the competent Police Station Široki Brijeg of the Ministry of Interior of the West Herzegovina Canton submitted a written notice to the FUP that gatherings were banned for them, the FUP invited the said person for an informational interview to inform him of that decision, i.e., for him to abandon the intention of going to Široki Brijeg.

Given that certain media reported that Sanin Musa was detained, i.e., arrested, we inform the public that he was neither arrested nor detained, but was, in accordance with the provisions of Article 15 of the Law on Police Officers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, invited to conduct an interview regarding the said event," they stated from the FUP.
