The position of KCUS Director does not belong to SDA or any party

Unfortunately, even after more than 20 years of its existence, the Party of Democratic Action has not evolved to the point of understanding that no public position "belongs" to any party. The nervous insistence on stopping the process of appointing the new director of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, Rusmir Mesihović, indicates that this party sees the position of director of the largest hospital center in BiH exclusively as their political position, reports the Patria News Agency. 

The Social Democratic Party of BiH will not participate in such actions, and if SDA wants its own compliant director, let them appoint one themselves, when they finally, and we hope soon, form the government in the Federation of BiH with their coalition partners, and if they can, of course, implement it in accordance with the law.

As long as the SDP BiH cadres are in the Government of the FBiH, this institution will operate exclusively in accordance with the Constitution and the law, regardless of all political pressures and unprincipled political agreements, which in essence represent an attempt at illegal action.

Healthcare in FBiH, and especially in Sarajevo Canton, has been in the hands of SDA cadres for too long, who have brought it to the brink of disappearance, and it is precisely thanks to the Government of FBiH and SDP BiH cadres that the trend of further decline of the FBiH healthcare system has been halted. Is it necessary to remind SDA, and the domestic public, of the long list of their cadres in healthcare, who left nothing behind but devastation in the budget coffers?

It is to be hoped that the judicial authorities will also begin prosecuting the years-long crime of SDA experts who managed KCUS, as well as other healthcare institutions in FBiH, and who today own villas and apartments in numerous world destinations, while healthcare faces huge debts and problems, according to the SDPBiH statement.
