Franka Leko takes mandate as MP in the House of Representatives of FBiH Parliament, no replacement for Bajramović and Novalić yet

(Patria) - At today's session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, which was not held because the House of Representatives of the FBiH did not support the conclusion of the clubs forming the parliamentary majority to have the session led by Deputy Speaker Mladen Bošković instead of Speaker Mirjana Marinković-Lepić. Although Marinković-Lepić was present at the session, she is unable to lead it due to her health problems.

However, given the new situation, Marinković-Lepić took over the part concerning the verification of the mandate of MP Franka Leko. Although opposition MPs requested that the MP take over the mandate at the next session because there would be no session today, it was nevertheless decided to read the report of the Committee on Mandates and Immunity, which was supported by 50 votes.

MP Franko Leko then took the oath, after which Marinković-Lepić stated that the MPs would be informed about the continuation of further work.

As highlighted in the report of this committee, Halil Bajramović (NIP) and Fadil Novalić (SDA) remain without mandates due to final court rulings. Replacement mandates for these MPs have not yet been assigned.
