Friar Ninić directs voters: 'The key to the elections is for the Trojka to win in Sarajevo and for 'SDFA' to lose in Tuzla'

Friar of the Franciscan Monastery "Sveti Petar i Pavao" Tuzla and administrator of the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Zvornik – Srebrenica, fra Franjo Ninić, who is very active in public life, analyzed the upcoming elections on his Twitter profile and tried to direct voters on whom they should support on October 6th.

"The key to the local elections on October 6th is for progressive and pro-European parties and policies (I mean the Trojka primarily) to retain power in Sarajevo and Tuzla. A change in the local political paradigm with the SDFA coming to power in these areas would further weaken positive processes in the entire Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sarajevo, however it is perceived, is a model for the entire country, and local politics and governance in the City of Sarajevo have a decisive impact on general political processes throughout the country, especially in the FBiH. The aggressiveness and eagerness of the SDFA and its candidates to return to power in Sarajevo clearly confirm this.

On the other hand, Tuzla is, for the first time in this election cycle, in real danger of the SDFA and their associated technocrats from the political underworld, whom the Tuzla SDP has nurtured for years and traded with for a majority in the City Council, taking over local governance.

The Trojka and their local partners realize, we hope, the importance of continuity of alternativism and the special local identity of the politics here. One should not "responsibly continue" just on posters," Ninić stated.
