Fra Ivo Marković: Bosnian politicians cannot change, only be replaced

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - "We live in a moment of confrontations, life is impossible without conflict. Life itself is a conflict that is resolved. But now we have a culture of non-confrontation, we do not resolve conflicts and we block coexistence," said Fra Ivo Marković for N1.

Fra Marković said that the current situation cannot last long and that small steps need to be taken:

"Present-day Bosnia is in a very poor spiritual state, it is like putting a body in acid, the Bosnian man has been placed in acid that destroys his health, both physical and mental and spiritual health."

For the difficult situation in BiH, according to Fra Marković, great blame also lies with cultural institutions which, instead of "feeding the people with spirit, fall into negativity."

"One must maintain spiritual fitness, that is what culture is for, that is what religion, prayer, reading are for. If a person does not feed the soul, then he very easily falls into negative existence. The Bible constantly says: Be watchful."

He said that Bosnian politicians cannot change, they can only be replaced.

"Such is the situation now. Nationalists are in power now, people who manipulate identity, who drive people crazy."
