Faithful across Bosnia and Herzegovina performed Eid prayers, which followed as the culmination after the holy month of Ramadan, during which Muslims worldwide fasted, abstaining from food, drink, bad behavior, forgiving each other..., reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Eid prayers in Bosnia and Herzegovina were performed in all mosques. The central prayer was held in the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo, and it was led by the Rais al-Ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Husein ef. Kavazović.

After the prayers, the faithful gather in their homes with family and friends.

Ramadan Eid is one of the two biggest holidays for Muslims worldwide, and it lasts for three days, writes NAP. The second day of Ramadan Eid is Martyrs' Day.
