We increasingly hear that the number of tourists in BiH is increasing, that Sarajevo, Mostar and other BiH cities are unavoidable stops for many touring Europe, but when they first encounter our country and drive away from Sarajevo Airport, do they enjoy it or do they think they have arrived in a land of wonders, garbage, and waste, writes the Patria News Agency.

Citizens near the Airport are accustomed to such sights, mud, garbage, stalls, and abandoned buildings, but tourists are mildly shocked at first and often photograph all these wonders.

Pedestrians are particularly endangered as there are no sidewalks, and sellers of flowers, watermelons, and coal display their products along the roadside, making it impossible to move except along the main road.

Do the authorities consider any source of infection given the amount of garbage, as rats are even seen around the abandoned buildings. Spoiled fruit is left by the roadside, spreading an unbearable stench, and everything should be tidied up as soon as possible so as not to send such an image to the world.
