22:00 - The world's best 800-metre athlete Amel Tuka shone again tonight at the Athletics Meeting in the Swiss city of Bellinzona, where he took first place. Tuka finished tonight's race with a time of 1:45.80, reports the news agency Patria.

21:30 - The best Bosnian athlete, who holds the best result in the world this year, 1:42.51 over 800 metres, had a great time at training ahead of tonight's appearance at the athletics meeting in the Swiss city of Bellinzona, which starts at 21:30, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

During the day, Tuka also socialised with Bosnians and Herzegovinians living in Switzerland, who came to support him tonight.
Šefika Topić, originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who came with friends to support Tuka in Bellinzona, told the Patria agency that Tuka is a wonderful young man, was in good spirits at training, and that everyone hopes he will achieve good results, just like a few days ago in Monaco.

- There are many Bosnian flags here at the stadium in Bellinzona. This is a great day for us. We are happy that our Tuka is with us, we came to support him – said Topić.

- Tuka told me that his heart skipped a beat when he saw my cap (in the shape of the BiH flag). He also said that until now he has never had a Bosnian audience at a competition outside BiH – added Topić.

Tuka will have great support from the stands during the race in the Swiss city of Bellinzona 

After tonight's appearance in Switzerland, Tuka returns to his training base in the Italian city of Brunico, where he will prepare for the World Championship, but before that he will briefly return to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, most likely on 9 August, writes Patria.
