PHOTO STORY: Only pain remains, white headstones and freshly filled graves

And once again, Potočari was left deserted in the evening of July 11, with thousands of white headstones and graves freshly covered with earth, where 136 identified victims of the genocide in Srebrenica found their peace, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

And while families were lowering their loved ones into the ground, a few meters away, the eyes of the world were fixed on one man, the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who, whether one wants to admit it or not, sealed this 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.

Vučić will remember July 11, 2015, if not for the thousands of white headstones and the words of the mothers of Srebrenica, “Thank you for coming to the site of the genocide,” then at least for the thousands of living people who were in Potočari that day. 

The delegations, dignitaries, guests, friends have left... The mothers, wives, children remained with their pain and bitterness that a stain was cast on their final farewell. 

And again, mothers, wives, children will come again on July 11 and live their sorrow and pain.
