Forto sees a revolution in KS but ministers don't take enough photos: UK boasts about clean air projects while we're still choking!

While Edin Forto was the head of the KS Government, due to excessive exposure on social media, that government was dubbed the 'Facebook government'. Sponsored posts were paid for on social media, the prime minister and ministers competed to take the best selfie. There were also quad bike rides, selfies with cows, gift package distributions, and rides on excavators in the middle of floods...

Given that he is now in the position of a state minister, perhaps the Sarajevo Canton is better seen from above, Edin Forto criticized the KS Government for not boasting about the revolution they are implementing. It's useless that Nihad Uk hired a communication strategy expert in his cabinet, it's useless to have a set of new photos from the cabinet, the boss is still not satisfied.

A few days ago, Forto, speaking in an interview with the Vijesti.ba portal, called on the Government to finally start boasting about what it has done.

„The cantonal government in Sarajevo is producing much better results than they are showing and photographing. I hope they will photograph and show what they are doing a little more. Since I am from the inside, I know exactly what they are doing, these are big things. They are passing laws, building infrastructure, working on public transport, improving conditions for young families with children. A complete revolution is happening in Sarajevo Canton, but they need to step up the boasting about these achievements a bit,“ Forto listed in one breath.

However, he forgot to mention that in this revolution, trade unions are dissatisfied and have organized strikes several times, that young people have been deceived by the smallest subsidy for buying their first property since the project was implemented, that there is no money in the budget and the debts are increasing, that social benefits are delayed, and that numerous 'revolutionary' reforms have almost destroyed education in KS. Perhaps all of this cannot be seen from the building of BiH institutions.

However, Prime Minister Uk heard his boss's instructions, so today he decided to 'treat' the public with posts about achievements in the fight for clean air with colorful illustrations and the unavoidable yellow tram. But, unfortunately, Sarajevo is also one of the most polluted cities in the world in this revolution.

Although the reconstruction of the KS Government was discussed before and after the local elections, Forto states that he is not sure about this idea.

"There are voices claiming that reconstruction would be good. I am not sure about that. I'm not saying it wouldn't be good or that it would be, but I'm not sure," he said.

When it comes to the arrest of the Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Construction, and Environmental Protection, Bojan Bošnjak, who is a member of Our Party, Forto said that it is a challenge, but that he expects more information soon and will then take a responsible stance accordingly.

However, we have seen how Forto takes a responsible stance in another example when he proposed Reuf Sulejmanović for the executive director at Railways of FBiH, who had previously been arrested and had certain prohibitions on holding positions in supervisory boards. The FBiH Government dismissed, then appointed, and then dismissed Sulejmanović again on the same day. Sulejmanović is suspected of favoring Nijaz Salamović (NIP) to become an executive director, and then director of KJKP Rad. Salamović also has prohibitions on holding office.

Another member of Our Party, Boris Trapara, is the subject of checks by two prosecutor's offices due to disputed work experience certificates he submitted for the competition for the director of the Cantonal Institute for the Protection of Cultural-Historical and Natural Heritage Sarajevo. Trapara was appointed in August 2021, and the KS Prosecutor's Office and the Prosecutor's Office in East Sarajevo are still checking all the certificates he submitted, which inspections have found to be fabricated.

However, Forto has not commented on that case. Yet...
