SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister Edin Forto from Our Party said via his Twitter profile that he made a mistake when he requested a per diem from the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.

"After withdrawing from the House of Peoples, I requested a per diem, because I received an opinion that I had the right to it. I knew what I was signing.

For years I have been fighting for the abolition of per diems for professional representatives who receive a salary in the same job. This is not such a case, but I made a mistake and I am sincerely sorry," Forto said.

On January 9, 2019, Edin Forto submitted a request to the Administrative Commission of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament for the approval of the payment of a per diem amounting to 630 KM, starting from January 1, 2019.
