Forto: Sarajevo Canton is not over-indebted, we will try to reach an agreement with the unions

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister Edin Forto, addressing the deputies in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly today and speaking about the Draft Budget of Sarajevo Canton for 2022, said that it is obvious that some kind of inflation is happening that has not yet been measured.

"We will only know next summer what happened to us today. The cost of living has increased. That is true."

When it comes to talks with the unions, he said that they are for social dialogue, but if no agreement is reached, the law stipulates what each of us can do.

When asked why the funds for the Office for Combating Corruption and Quality Management of Sarajevo Canton were not increased, Forto said that the deputies should not worry about the Office.

"Everything the Office asks for, it will receive, as it always has. Their items are not capital, if they need to expand, if they need additional space, they will get it all. You do not need to worry about financing the activities of the Office for Combating Corruption," said Forto.

Also, the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton emphasized that the Sarajevo Canton is not over-indebted and that he will not leave problems for those who will lead the Government.
