Fortitudo and Napredak produced over 430,000 clothing items

Bosnian-Herzegovinian textile industries Fortitudo d.o.o. Travnik and Napredak d.d. Tešanj, operating within AS GROUP, produced a total of over 430,000 clothing items for foreign markets in 2014, reports the Patria News Agency.

In the past year, Fortitudo produced a total of 340,000 clothing items, including 85,000 women's coats and jackets, and 255,000 men's suits, trousers, and jackets, exported to Germany, Italy, Sweden, China, and America. 

Napredak from Tešanj completed the total production result of the AS GROUP textile division by exporting more than 91,000 pieces of clothing to Italy, Germany, and Libya.

Napredak d.d. Tešanj, with a tradition of almost 60 years, produces outerwear such as coats, jackets, and blazers for global fashion brands, in accordance with international textile standards. 

Thanks to successful operations in the previous period, further development of the textile division within AS GROUP has been enabled. Further investments in new technologies and employment are planned, although the AS GROUP textile division currently employs a total of 1,050 workers, it was announced from the AS Group press center.
