Mozaik Foundation raised over 300,000 BAM for flood-affected areas

With the help of donors, Mozaik Foundation has raised 309,374 BAM for the recovery of flood-affected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mozaik Foundation will invest these donations in: supplying flood-affected areas with drinking water, youth work actions for several hundred young people who will solve specific infrastructural problems in communities affected by floods and landslides, and in providing seedlings, expert support, and a secure market for endangered families who see agriculture as a way out of the crisis, according to a statement from Mozaik Foundation.

The largest donor for the recovery of flood-affected areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the company Glencore from Switzerland, which, in response to the damage caused by severe floods, donated 100,000 US dollars. Glencore is one of the largest global companies dealing with diverse natural resources, employing 200,000 people in over 50 countries worldwide. In addition to Glencore, the Robert Bosch Foundation (30,000 EUR), the King Baudouin Foundation (15,000 EUR), and the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation (14,700 EUR) also made significant donations.

Mozaik Foundation has provided a transparent way to track the inflow and expenditure of donated funds, so you can see the donor's name, time, and donation amount at any time on the website www.mozaik.ba. All spent funds will also be displayed on the Mozaik Foundation website.

- Our goal is to support young people in repairing the damage caused by floods and landslides, and to contribute to the economic recovery of endangered areas - state Mozaik.
