Fund for Professional Rehabilitation Strengthens Inclusive Labour Market in the Federation of BiH

(Patria) - The Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities of the FBiH continuously works on
strengthening the inclusive labour market in the Federation of BiH.

Through its activities and support to employers, the Fund aims to create new employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and ensure the preservation of existing jobs.

One of the key instruments of the Fund are public calls. Two public calls are currently open with a total
value of 16.7 million KM – eight million KM is allocated for new employment of persons with disabilities, while 8.7 million KM is earmarked for preserving existing jobs and professional rehabilitation. Through these measures, the Fund wants to encourage employers to open new and adapted workplaces and demonstrate that employing persons with disabilities is both a social responsibility and an opportunity for growth and development.

These opportunities were also discussed at a coordination meeting of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, and the Federal Employment Institute, held at the building of the Government of the Federation. The goal of the meeting was to harmonise activities in the preparation of the largest employment platform in the Federation of BiH – the Job Fair "Mind Your Own Business".

"We invite employers and public institutions to get involved so that together we can create a more inclusive labour
market in the Federation of BiH. We must not ignore how important it is to open space for the employment of persons with
disabilities, and the Job Fair 'Mind Your Own Business' represents an ideal platform for employers to learn about support measures, find suitable candidates, and show readiness to invest in inclusion. This is an opportunity for employers, institutions, and the non-governmental sector to jointly demonstrate how employing persons with disabilities can be a gain for the entire society," said the Director of the Fund, Ahmet Baljić.

The Fair will be held on 6 and 7 October 2025 at the "Hills" hotel in Sarajevo, and will gather more than a hundred employers from all parts of the Federation of BiH. The Fair connects employers with individuals seeking their first job or wishing to change careers.

Therefore, the Fund invites all employers, public institutions, and job seekers to join the Fair "Mind Your Own
Business" on 6 and 7 October and jointly contribute to creating a more inclusive labour market in the Federation of BiH.
