Foča residents issue warning to RS authorities: Our roads are like roulette, someone dies on them every day

More than a hundred residents of Foča today blocked the road leading from Foča to Šćepan Polje, wanting to draw the attention of the RS authorities to the catastrophic condition of the roads in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where people die every day, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

At the beginning of this year, three girls lost their lives on the Foča – Šćepan Polje road when a bus skidded into an abyss due to poor road conditions. Expert examination determined that the accident was not caused by driver error, but exclusively by the poor condition of the road.

Milorad Dodik's government has been promising for several years to repair the road of death, as this section is called, but this has not happened yet.

Citizens stopped traffic for half an hour today, but they also announced a complete blockade of traffic if the authorities do not start repairing the roads in this part of the country, reports NAP.
