(Patria) - The Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs is launching a public information campaign with the slogan "Where corruption reigns, society perishes" with the aim of raising citizens' awareness of the dangers of corruption and the importance of reporting it.
The campaign is being implemented within the Action Plan for the Fight against Corruption in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and includes a series of activities aimed at prevention, suppression, and education about this problem. The campaign officially begins on December 9, which is observed as the International Anti-Corruption Day.
The campaign is designed to encourage citizens to recognize the seriousness of corruption, which is not only a threat to justice but directly endangers the stability of society. Through educational and promotional activities, the campaign will focus on key issues such as strengthening integrity in the public sector, preventing conflicts of interest, and improving the legal framework for more effective prosecution of corruption.
"The campaign slogan 'Where corruption reigns, society perishes' reflects our determination to fight this scourge. I call on all citizens to get involved and actively contribute to the fight against corruption. Only together can we build a society based on justice and equality. It is time to show that there is no room in BiH for corruption that destroys our future," stated Ramo Isak, Federal Minister of Internal Affairs.
The Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on all citizens, institutions, and organizations to join this important initiative and contribute to building a responsible and just society where corruption will no longer have room to spread.
The campaign will be conducted through various events with representatives of relevant institutions, non-governmental organizations, and international partners.
In order to ensure the widest possible reach of the campaign's key messages, content will be present on TV, radio, and online platforms, with the aim of encouraging citizens to recognize the harmfulness of corruption and actively work towards its suppression, the FMUP announced.
